Message from the Interim Vice President for Institutional Advancement
A Donation Today, A Vote of Confidence in Tomorrow.
Giving back is a gracious, time-honored tradition that pays dividends on many fronts – benefiting both the thoughtful donor and the beneficiary of the donor’s generosity. As a not-for-profit institution, Daemen College gratefully welcomes philanthropic gifts, in various forms, to advance our educational mission. A strong financial foundation portends great things for a great college.
Gifts to Daemen include annual, capital, and planned giving efforts. All gifts and grants are directed to the college’s development office. There they are officially accepted, acknowledged, and administered, pursuant to the policies of the Board of Trustees.
Giving to Daemen may take the form of cash, appreciated securities, and deferred or planned gifts, including trusts, annuities, retirement funds, insurance policies and real property, among other vehicles.
Endowment gifts may be used to establish a special endowment fund at Daemen. These can be Named Endowments for specified academic departments; an Endowed Chair – to attract and sustain a distinguished scholar; or a Named Endowment Scholarship.
Whatever form your gift giving may take, the big picture is priceless: knowing you’re helping to sustain and grow the vitality, viability and vision of Daemen College. We are not without a sense of pragmatism: financial strength is imperative if a great academic institution is to continue to remain great. By the same token, donors themselves can put themselves in favorable tax positions while simultaneously taking pride in being a part of Daemen College’s continuing excellence into the future.
Your donation today is truly a vote of confidence in tomorrow.

Service Learning
One of the things that makes Daemen so unique is a deep and persistent commitment to service. Every single student at Daemen participates in one or more individual or group service learning projects that are fully integrated with their academic programs. These experiences benefit the community locally, nationally and internationally and help students become well-rounded, service-minded members of their communities.
Think Tank
Daemen offers unparalleled opportunities for students to engage in original research at the undergraduate level. What’s more, that research is in partnership with a faculty member, not a graduate assistant or another student, providing the maximum amount of support and a deep and rich learning opportunity. Research projects in many majors spread across four semesters, enabling students to have a tremendous impact through their work and to leave school with a broad understanding of the research process.
The campaign is at 85% of its goal, but we need your help with the final 15% – often considered the hardest part of any fundraising effort. Please consider a gift that will help Daemen College continue to “Drive to 75.”
